*hagayui: "impatient" in Japanese (all of my haiku have Japanese titles)*

Now God has rained chance,
sacred manna from on high;
still, I wait to eat,

to sit in the place
I've dreamed about for so long--
It proves close but far.

My hopes are weary
of rising up and sleeping
on your tight schedule.
